Role Summary

We're hiring a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a $50 million hospital development in San Diego. You'll own on-site execution, oversee subcontractors and supervisors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and Joint Commission standards. This is a high-impact role on a flagship project with room to grow.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor budget and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead pre-construction planning and schedule development
• Manage subcontractors and vendor coordination
• Conduct quality inspections and compliance audits
• Coordinate with healthcare client and Joint Commission (JCAHO) requirements
• Manage site safety and OSHA compliance
• Track change orders and contract management
• Attend daily stand-ups and weekly progress meetings
• Report to the Project Director and oversee 2 site supervisors and 8–12 subcontractors

Essential Requirements

• OSHA 30 Hour Card
• Hospital or healthcare facility construction experience

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years managing construction projects
• Bluebeam or construction management software proficiency
• Budget management and cost control experience
• Subcontractor and vendor management skills
• Joint Commission (JCAHO) or healthcare compliance knowledge
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification

Base salary of $130,000 to $150,000 per year, plus a $25,000 annual performance bonus.
