You'll operate an 18-wheeler making local flatbed deliveries of structural steel, home every night. The trucks, trailers and tie-down equipment are provided, and the pay goes higher with experience.

What you'll do
- Operate an 18-wheeler to transport steel safely to local destinations.
- Secure steel loads on flatbed trailers using appropriate tie-down equipment.
- Check load security before departure and throughout deliveries as required.
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate driving records.
- Follow road safety requirements and site procedures.
What you'll need
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Experience operating an 18-wheeler and hauling flatbed loads.
- Ability to safely secure and tie down steel loads.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working as part of a team.
Nice to have
- Experience with delivery documentation and record-keeping.
You'll report to the Dispatch or Operations Supervisor and make local deliveries of structural steel.
